    If you do not have much time, you can also spend 1 day for Halong bay tour. You will have time to cruise on Halong bay - the world heritage with thousands of islets around. Visit Thien Cung cave and Dau Go cave, the two of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay and you also can do kayaking ( optional) for about 1 hour.

    • At 8.00 am: Hanoi Tourism’s car and guide will meet you at your hotel, then we will depart to Ha Long City – the capital city of Quang Ninh Province. It is located at about 160 km northeast of Hanoi. Ha Long city is divided into two parts: East Ha Long and West Ha Long. The eastern part (“Hon Gai”), where most of the official buildings and industry are concentrated, is connected by bridge with the western part (“Bai Chay”), considered to be more of a tourism attraction. We will stop halfway for a short break in Hai Duong Province.
    • At 11.30am: The expected arriving time in Ha Long City.

    We will have lunch on boat. After that, we will cruise around Ha Long Bay via boat for 4 hours. You will have a chance to admire two of the most beautiful caves there: Thien Cung Cave (or Heavenly Cave) and Dau Go Cave (the Cave of Wooden Stakes). While Dau Go Cave boasts the mossy beauty and glorious history, Thien Cung Cave makes the visitors the impression of being in a heavenly world.

    16h30: Enjoy sunset before taking bus back Hanoi. If you choose kayaking, you will have 45 minutes kayak in the bay ( for deluxe tour only).

    8:00: We pick you up from your hotel, start the tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho - and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-palace Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

    After that, you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of west lake. From there, it’s onto the Temple of literature, which was Viet Nam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius. 

    12.30: You have lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter with local Vietnamese traditional Cuisines. 

    13:30: You’ll visit Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart and soul of Hanoi. 

    Finally, You’ll stop in at Museum of Ethnology. Located west of the city centre, this museum offer informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and other functional objects. The display continues on to the garden outside with fascinating examples of minority housing from the King’s to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands.

    TOUR HOA BINH HYDROELECTRIC POWER – THAC BO TEMPLE (1 DAY)

    Hoa Binh hydroelectric Power Plant was built from 1979 to April 1994 with the capacity of 1,920 MW, satisfying one third of Vietnam electricity consumption.     Duong Lam Ancient Village (Full day tour)

    The ancient village of Duong Lam has been recognized as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture Sport and Tourism. The village has a history of about 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years. Two of Vietnam's kings, Phung Hung (?-800) and Ngo Quyen (896-944) were born in Duong Lam, giving the village its prestige. The village has been well-known for its surviving laterite brick houses, built three to four centuries ago. Laterite is red clay formed from weathered basalt found in northern Vietnam. Along with its historic value, Duong Lam, is an important place for scientists to study resident communities and ancient agriculture.

    Guide and car pick up guests at hotel then transfer to Duong Lam ancient village about 50km away from Hanoi. Stopover on the way to visit Son Dong traditional sculpture village. The Son Dong wooden statues are present in many pagodas and communal houses in the Northern provinces. Visit some households in the village, see mastered the technique of making wooden statues. Walk along village road to visit Son Dong communal house and survey Viet traditional culture with the cult of fecundity. Continue to drive to Duong Lam.

    Arrive Duong Lam, visit village gate, Mong Phu communal house, some ancient houses and enjoy local products: rice wine, rice cake. Go around the village to visit some cultural and historical vestiges in Duong Lam such as: Giang Van Minh worship-house, Princess Mia Palace and Temple, Mia pagoda.

    12:30 Lunch at the Hoa Sua restaurant by Son Tay ancient citadel. Free time for visiting ancient citadel.

    13:30 Transfer back to Hanoi.

    14:15 Stopover on the way to visit Tay Phuong pagoda - the best example of old typical pagoda in the northern of Vietnam, special with Arhan statue.
